The first capital of Japan, Nara is a city with many temples and parks. People live in houses that are built in the traditional Japanese style. A daunting structure Todai-ji this building was built to house a giant Buddah. It has been re-built 3 times and believe it or not this is the smallest version. The small specks by the front doors are workers, who were restoring the front steps on the day we visited. | |||
